Satyricon is the eighth studio album by Norwegian black metal band Satyricon. It is their first topping VG-lista, the official Norwegian Albums Chart. It was released throughout Europe on 9 September 2013, and released on 17 September 2013 in USA and Canada. All tracks written by Sigurd "Satyr" Wongraven, except "Phoenix" written by Sivert Høyem. Satyr – vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, percussion. Gildas Le Pape – guitars, additional bass guitar.

Satyricon is a recorded work for ensemble, sampler and synthesizers based on the infamous novel "Satyricon", written by the ancient Roman writer Petronius (~27-66 A.D.).
